ABOUT ME
Rick Traugott is a lifelong coach who has been working with young athletes in many sports for the past 35 years. The 2014-15 season marked the 27th consecutive year he has been behind the bench as he served both as Head Coach of the Port Hope Bantam BB team as well as Video Coach for Canada's National Women's Team which won a gold medal at the 4 Nations Cup in Kamloops, BC as well as capturing a silver medal at the IIHF World Championships in Malmo, Sweden this past March.
Coach Traugott's resumé includes coaching the Varsity boys and girls programs at Trinity College School, Ryerson University men's team, Wexford Raiders Tier 2 Junior A, Wexford Raiders Minor Bantam and Midget AAA, as well as the Brampton Thunder of the CWHL. Rick's responsibilities with Hockey Canada have included serving as a camp coach with both the National Women's U18 and U22/Development teams as well as Video Coach for the 2013-14 National Women's U18 team which won the world championship in Budapest, Hungary last spring.
